The dictionary we are going to present is different from all those already published as it primarily builds on practice and experience of the experts in procurement field. It unifies the terminology and interpretation of individual terms that are supplemented by specific experiences and approaches of many professionals, who are representing many disciplines across Europe, multiplying its added value.

Analysis of suppliers, purchasing items or inventory, serves as a basis for managing suppliers. It divides items (suppliers, purchasing and stock items into three groups depending on the weight of the item when financing the purchase or stock). The ABC analysis divides individual commodities, suppliers and items into three categories according to their importance.
Supplier Management is a purchasing model that is based on the assumption that suppliers are to be managed similarly to their own employees, i.e. selected, tasked, motivated, evaluated and rewarded.
E-procurement is the electronic provision of procurement including not only basic purchasing operations, but also a range of other related ICT support activities.
Wykwalifikowany sourcing i procurement menadżer, który pracował w kilku krajach i dziedzinach działalności gospodarczej dla firm takich jak Schneider Electric, Swedbank, Societe Generale i Sberbank Europe. Był tam odpowiedzialny za całą dziedzinę procurementu i zarządzania kosztami. Ma doświadczenie w tworzeniu organizacji zakupowej od podstaw, w rozwoju i pracy w burzliwym środowisku i w osiąganiu synergicznego efektu na poziomie grup.
Skończył Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Bratysławie. W ramach programu dla absolwentów, znanego obecnie pod nazwą Growww, rozpoczął swoją karierę w spółce SLOVNAFT. Stopniowo rozwijała swoje umiejętności w dziedzinie zakupu usług i prac konserwacyjnych (MRO) oraz projektowania zakupów. Obecnie zajmuje stanowisko Menadżera ds. Zakupów w firmie Flagship SLOVNAFT (SR, CZ, AUT, POL) w ramach grupy MOL. Jest gorącym zwolennikiem nowoczesnych zakupów z naciskiem na ludzkie podejście i analityczne myślenie. Jego motywacja to bycie lepszym. Motto: „Push the sky away“ Nick Cave.
Honza has been building experience in international procurement and logistics since 1995. He has led procurement teams in both small and large companies, such as Unipetrol and KUKA. He has dealt with a variety of projects in process management, mapping and analysis, process improvement, transfer of experience, teaching, translating and personal development training, as well as his own B2C project. In the latter, he combines his love of good beer and the fulfillment of his creative desire in graphics. He lives in a small village in the Ore Mountains and enjoys walking with his partner and the dog. He plays bass and sings in a thrash metal band. Among other things, he also enjoys the works of Terry Pratchett.
